Call for Proposals, Special Issue of Journal of Internet Cataloging

CORC Call For JIC Proposals | CORC JIC Paper Proposal Form

From Karen Calhoun and John Riemer, co-editors of special issue

This is a call for proposals for a special double issue of the Journal of Internet Cataloging (JIC), which is to be devoted to CORC.

Some of the 10 to 14 articles in this special issue will be invited papers, but we hope that researchers and practitioners who are participating in the CORC project will contribute a good number.

Some topics of potential interest to JIC readers include:

Of course this is not an exhaustive list, just some ideas to fuel your thinking.

If you are interested in presenting a proposal for an article, please complete the proposal form at

http://campusgw.library.cornell.edu/corc/proposal.html

and return it no later than Friday, September 10 to Karen Calhoun (ksc10@cornell.edu) or John Riemer (jriemer@arches.uga.edu).

We anticipate notifying writers of successful proposals no later than October 1. Completed manuscripts would be due in late fall.

Not interested in submitting a proposal for a paper? You can still provide significant help by:

  1. Telling us what topics you would like to see covered in a CORC theme issue of JIC
  2. Passing this message along to someone who might be interested in submitting a proposal

Please consider this opportunity to share the advances in knowledge and practice being made possible through CORC, and don't hesitate to contact either of us with your questions. Thank you.
