Annex Requests

The Library Annex is primarily a storage facility for lesser-used materials from the collections of CUL. Material from the annex can be delivered to any library on campus and will normally be available at the circulation desk within 24 hours, Monday - Friday.

For materials that reside in the annex, "Location: Library Annex" will appear in the catalog record.

To request annex material, retrieve the catalog record of that item. Click the Requests tab on the top of the page. If you have not logged in, you will be prompted for your Cornell ID number and last name. On the following page, select Book Delivery Servies from the drop-down menu and complete the form.

Additionially, certain kinds of material (journal articles and tables of contents) can be delivered electronically to patrons via fax or the internet.

Note:
Items may also be held at the annex reading room to be checked out or used there. The annex is not a browsing library and the retrieval of requested material takes some time. Therefore, annex staff ask that you provide them at least two hours advance notice when requesting items to be held for you.

The annex is located on Palm Road (off Route 366, near the Cornell apple orchard).

For more information about the annex, visit the Cornell Library Annex web site.
