Interlibrary Loan at Cornell University (ILLiad)

Connect to ILLiad

Despite the size and comprehensiveness of the Cornell University Library collection, individuals may require materials that CUL does not own. If the Cornell Library system does not own the material you need, you may request books, articles or microfilm to be delivered from another library. Cornell University Library has implemented an interlibrary loan system called ILLiad to handle these requests.

Logging in to the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System for the first time

When you connect to ILLiad, you are prompted for your Netid and password.

If this is your first time using ILLiad or Document Delivery you will be prompted to fill in relevant information such as your address, payment information for Document Delivery requests, and item delivery preferences. If you have used ILLiad in the past with the old log-in system, you may find that your information has been automatically transferred to the new system.

Tracking and viewing your interlibrary loan request

You can track your interlibrary loan requests as they are processed as well as view the history of interlibrary loan requests that you have made. Log into ILLiad and select one of the links under View in the left-hand menu.
