Help: Research Tools: CU Library Catalog: Patron Information:

Charged Items

This section of Patron Information lists library materials you have charged in your name and allows you to manage your account. The Status column displays the date each item is due and indicates if an item has been recalled. "Recalled" items are those that are checked out, but have been requested by another reader. If an item has been recalled, its new due date will also be displayed.

To renew charged items:

  1. Check the "Renew?" box next to each item.
  2. Click the "Renew Items" button to process the request. The new due date will appear in the Status column. Reserve materials cannot be renewed through the online catalog.
NOTE:  If a hold or recall has been placed on an item, the system will not renew it and a "Not Renewed" message will appear in the Status column.

NOTE:  The "Charged Items" list in Patron Information does not contain library materials that may have been charged to you manually. To renew those items, contact the owning library circulation desk.
