Overview of Find it!

What is it?

Find it! allows simultaneous searching of multiple databases for articles or images. It also allows you to find relevant databases or e-journals by title, subject or name.

What does it contain?

Hundreds of selected online periodical indexes, audio-visual materials, numeric and spatial data, and reference sources. It also contains the records and links for thousands of e-journals.

When would I use it?

Use Find it! to find articles, databases, e-journals, and images. Use it to search more than one database at a time; to see which search terms or databases give more results; to do a very simple search for a few quick articles on a general topic.

What does a search return?

Results may include: citations and sometimes full text articles; online indexes and databases for more advanced searching; thumbnail images (for image searches); links to e-journal titles.

How can I search or browse?

You can search for databases and e-journals by title, description, and subject. You can browse by subject in the areas of General Interest and Reference, Arts and Humanities, Science and Technology and Social Sciences.

When searching for articles or images, you can search by keyword.
