Entomology Library
General and applied entomology are the focus of this collection. Additional subjects include parasitology, medical entomology, ecology, zoological nomenclature and allied orders of arthropods. The library also has rare books, a collection of departmental theses and a significant number of reprints.
The Comstock Memorial Library of Entomology was established in 1914, when the students of John Henry Comstock created a book fund in his honor. Later, Professor Comstock made a personal contribution to the fund and donated his own books to the Library.
