Items in Other Cornell Libraries

Library-to-Library Book Delivery is a service for Cornell-affiliated patrons. Patrons can request that a book be shipped from one library to a library of their choosing for more convenient pick-up. Requests are made electronically using the Library Catalog.

Quick facts to know about Library-to-Library Book Delivery:

  • Only regular loan books can be requested. Periodicals, reserve materials and short-term loan items such as videos and DVDs are not included in this service.
  • Patrons cannot make requests to have books paged and picked up from the same location.
  • Requests will be filled within 48 hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Books will be held for nine days at the selecte pick-up library.  After that time, unclaimed books will be shipped back to the owning library.
