Wireless Access in the Library

In many of the libraries on campus, wireless access to the Internet is available through CIT's RedRover service. To see a list of the libraries and other places on campus where RedRover wireless access is available, click here.

To use RedRover, you'll need:

  • A laptop computer or handheld device
  • A wireless networking card

Members of the Cornell community (with a Cornell netid) are eligible for full wireless access. For visitors, there is a guest network with limited access.

For more information, including instructions on setting up RedRover wireless on your computer, see the CIT RedRover web site.

RedRover is managed by CIT and has been funded by the university and Cornell University Library. Access in the libraries has been funded in part by an anonymous donor.
